How to use your KA Caddy Built Just for the Tilt-Head KitchenAid® Mixer
Using your KA Caddy is simple — here’s how:
Place the back of your tilt-head mixer into the KA Caddy
Lower the front of the mixer to fit tightly
Slide the KA Caddy and mixer using the handle
To carry and lift, place one hand on the handle, and the other on the back end of the mixer
Always follow care instructions. The caddy should stay under the mixer all the time unless you’re cleaning it.
Do not immerse in water or put the caddy in the dishwasher.
I have different mixer than the KitchenAid, will it still fit?
No. This is designed to only fit snuggly under a tilt-head KitchenAid mixer. There are a few different mixers made by Kitchen Aid so be sure to double check that you have a Tilt-Head!
Does the Caddy stay under my mixer while it is turned on?
Yes. Put the KA Caddy under your mixer and leave it there. Only remove if cleaning.
Can the Caddy go in the dishwasher?
No. The felt pads on the bottom will get wet. Don’t immerse in water either.
> To clean: Take your mixer out of the KA Caddy and brush any flour away or wipe off stuck-on food with a wet cloth. Dry with a tea towel or air dry. Should the pads get wet, let air dry.
Is the KA Caddy made by KitchenAid?
No. We have no association with KitchenAid. Except that we love their mixer so much.

Based in Interior BC, Canada, Don Drummond is a home baker - cookies, cakes, but mostly bread - and has a Tilt-Head KitchenAid® mixer. Each time he baked, he dragged his mixer out of the pantry, precariously carrying it to the counter, dragging and bouncing it where he used it, then carrying it back again to store it when his baking was done.
Don thought there must be a better way, but found nothing. So he invented the original KACaddy.
After years of family members and friends asking Don for their own KA Caddy, he realized that while he was effortlessly sliding his mixer around the counter and easily lifting, carrying and sliding it into and out of a cupboard or pantry, his fellow bakers were dragging and bouncing their mixer on their counter and struggling to lift, carry and store it in a cupboard or pantry.
That day, Don knew that he must make the KA Caddy accessible to every baker. Now, the KA Caddy is made from strong, lightweight, and attractive ABS plastic with industrial-quality felt on the bottom to make it easy to slide.
